Ahead of their hugely anticipated debut album What Comes Next, wildly talented twin producers, Cosmo’s Midnight today announce a national tour, visiting major cities throughout July. Off the back of their latest nostalgic, house-leaning single “Polarised” and impending debut record, out June 15 via Sony/RCA Records,the brothers will premiere an all new live show on the tour, presented by Astral People, Maker Agency & triple j. Currently roaming the country on regional festival Groovin the Moo, Cosmo’s Midnight return in July - bringing a brand new set featuring live keys, percussion & guitars to eager fans around Australia. Launching at Sydney’s iconic The Metro Theatre on July 6, they’ll then head to Brisbane’s The Flying Cock on July 7. A week later, the pair venture south to Melbourne’s The Corner Hotel on July 13,before making way to Perth’s Jack Rabbit Slims on July 14, and capping off a killer run of shows at Adelaide’s Fat Controller on July 28. The pair will be supported by special guest and unique hip-hop upstart Genesis Owusu on all shows. Enschway. Daktyl. Vincent. They’re three of the best names in bass music and this July, they’re teaming up for the one huge tour. For his biggest run of Australian shows to date, homegrown bass star Enschway is joining forces with two big name internationals. Together, Enschway, Daktyl and Vincent will be gracing Sydney’s Metro Theatre on 13 July. Enschway won’t be hitting the road empty handed. He can now announce that the Friendschway EP Volume 3 — the follow-up to his two hugely successful EPs of the same series, which featured collaborations with the who’s-who of future bass and amassed millions of plays on Spotify and SoundCloud — is coming soon. While still in his teens, American born guitarist/singer Mark Lizotte was snatched from his bar band in Perth and launched on to the Australian charts as the leader of Johnny Diesel and the Injectors. A career was born and now some 30 years later Diesel is still rocking Saturday nights around the nation. Johnny Diesel and the Injectors moved from Perth to establish themselves in Sydney in 1987. They quickly became known for Diesel's extraordinary versatility on the guitar and his rich, soulful voice. The debut album shipped platinum and entered the charts at #2. It was the biggest-selling album of 1989. 'Hepfidelity', Diesel's first album under his own name in 1992 was a mega-platinum smash and earned him ARIAs for Best Album and Best Male Talent. He is one of only a select few Artists to win a Best Male Talent ARIA three times (along with John Farnham, Alex Lloyd and Gotye. The next albums - 'The Lobbyist' and 'Solid State Rhyme' confirmed his status as one of Australia's most significant recording artists. A non-stop six years that included extensive touring, recording and starting a family was capped in 1996 with the 'Short Cool Ones' project that he cut with blues harp player Chris Wilson.

David Byrne: American Utopia Tour

Talking Heads bandleader, solo artist, visual artist and author David Byrne will bring his American Utopia World Tour to Australia in November 2018. The NYC-based artist will perform songs from his acclaimed new album American Utopia as well as classics from his solo career and his days with Talking Heads. A 12-piece band will join Byrne on stage for an Annie-B Parson choreographed concert that he has called “the most ambitious show I’ve done since the shows that were filmed for Stop Making Sense.” Annie-B Parson also choreographed the St. Vincent and David Byrne collaboration tour around Love This Giant. For NZ fans, it will be Byrne’s first tour of the country since 2009. ‘Already the toast of Coachella, Byrne’s new road show was a knockout’ - David Fricke, Rolling Stone. David Byrne is a Scottish-born American artist, and one of the defining names in modern music. The American Utopia World Tour is simply not to be missed.

The Coronas

After selling out their Sydney St Patricks Day pop up show in under 48 hours, and performing sold out shows across the country in 2017, one of Ireland’s biggest bands today return to Australia in November. The Coronas are currently reaching new heights across the world performing huge stadium shows in their native Ireland, supporting one of Norway’s hottest acts Dagny on her Norwegian tour, playing some of the biggest festivals on the planet, and having four double platinum albums and numerous top 10 singles under their belt.
